General conditions of Holaluz Friends
At Holaluz, we periodically launch campaigns designed to reward current clients that recommend the company to other non-clients. These campaigns might be directed at electricity and/or solar clients.
Clients will be informed of the specific conditions for each campaign via email, telephone or their Client Zone. This will include the duration of the campaign, the process and the rewards involved.
To participate in any of our recommendation campaigns, it’s vital that you accept these conditions. Deal?
Who takes part?
The existing client: the natural or legal person who has contracted at least one electricity supply with Holaluz, and/or who has a solar installation associated with their supply point and managed by Holaluz. Sales representatives and sales channels will not be considered as an “existing client” for these purposes.
The new client: the natural or legal person who hasn’t contracted an electricity supply with Holaluz in the last 12 months, and who is now contracting their energy supply with Holaluz on the recommendation of an existing client. This also applies to customers who acquire a Holaluz solar installation.
How does the campaign work and what rules are there?
At the time of contracting, Holaluz gives a unique alphanumeric code to each client who signs up for the Classic, No Surprises and Fair Rates with a contracted power of less than 15kW. A code is also given to customers who have added a solar installation to their home with Holaluz (from here on, existing clients).
For each new client who contracts Holaluz and enters the code in the relevant field or by provides it via telephone or e-mail during the contracting process, Holaluz will transfer the amount advertised during the campaign (VAT included) to the bank accounts of the existing and new clients. If the existing client has more than one account with Holaluz, they should specify which account they wish to receive this payment to.
Each new Holaluz client will only be able to enter one code.
The campaign should only be used for personal, non-commercial purposes, and should only be shared with direct connections of Holaluz customers (acquaintances, friends, family members…). We reserve the right to remove the code from customers that abuse it or use it fraudulently at any time.
The maximum number of new customers that you can recommend will be specified in the conditions for each campaign and/or in your Client Zone.
And, of course, these conditions only apply if a recommendation is active.
When will you receive your reward for bringing in a new client?
The payment will be made during the next month in which the new client pays their first bill, for the Classic, Fair and solar rates. In the case of the No Surprises Rate, we’ll make the transfer during the next month in which the new client pays their second bill. The payment will be made to the same bank account from which the bills are paid. This terms apply both for new and existing clients.
The amount can be changed at any time. Clients will be informed of this on the Holaluz website or, in the case of existing clients, via email or through their Client Zone, applying from that moment on.
There are two conditions for payment to be made to the existing and new clients: registration on the part of the new client or the fitting of the solar installation, and the payment of bills. If the new client doesn’t pay the relevant bills, neither the new or existing clients will receive payment.
Under what circumstances will you not receive the reward?
Existing clients that have outstanding debts with Holaluz when they make the recommendation or when the payment is due to be made, won’t be able to benefit from the campaign. Neither the existing nor the new client will benefit. It wouldn’t be fair for us to pay you if you owe us, now would it?
The reward will also not apply to customers who have changed the name on the contract, as they won’t count as a new client.
If an existing client wants to register from another electricity supply through their Client Zone, they won’t be able to use their own code to get the reward (because they won’t count as a new client in this case either).
How can you take part?
The new client should enter a valid code when they sign up for Holaluz’s services, whether that’s via our website, over the phone, email or another medium specifically enabled for this purpose by Holaluz. We won’t accept any applications sent by any other means not specified in here. If you don’t have the code to hand at the moment you sign up, don’t worry. You’ll have up to 60 working days after you register.
Taxation
At Holaluz, we will withhold tax in accordance with the law in force at any given time. In addition, we will inform the Tax Agency, by means of form 347, of the identity of users whose transactions have exceeded the legally determined amount within a tax year.
The end of the road
We reserve the right to suspend or end campaigns at any moment with no need to justify the motives. Like your parents always said, it’s just “because I said so” ;). But rest assured that we’ll let you know through our website if we cancel or change any of the conditions. The termination, suspension or modification will come into effect from the moment it’s published on our site.
What jurisdiction applies?
Any disagreement or misunderstanding regarding this campaign should be resolved in the ordinary courts when the client resides.
